Fegnome

User Guide

Updated July 20, 2026 · covers the current app version

Fegnome shows you what’s actually on dispensary shelves near you — with real prices, honest freshness, and strain chemistry grounded in laboratory results instead of marketing copy. This guide walks every part of the app. Skim the headings; each section stands alone.

Getting started

The first launch walks you through five quick steps:

Home — what’s in stock right now

Search — the magnifying glass

One search box, four kinds of answers: strains (searched nationally — a strain is a strain everywhere), products and dispensaries (searched in your state), and tags like effects or flavors. Recent searches are remembered on your device only.

Discover — the editorial tab

Five data-driven sections, refreshed through the day. Any section with more to show has a “See all” link to the full list.

Strain pages — the chemistry, for real

Product pages & the sigils

Products carry small line-drawn marks we call sigils — a visual shorthand for what the product actually is: how a concentrate was extracted, what hardware a vape uses, what form an edible takes, whether a pre-roll is infused. Tap any sigil, anywhere in the app, and it explains itself in plain language. Sigils are strictly honest: they only appear when the underlying data supports the claim.

Product pages also show the details we could verify (potency, weight, extraction, dose), current availability across stores (cheapest first), and the price history we’ve observed.

Dispensary pages

Faves — the genie lamp

The freshness pill

Every listing carries a small freshness marker showing how recently we confirmed it on the store’s menu. Menus refresh on a roughly daily cycle; anything we haven’t seen for more than a week leaves the app entirely. That’s the honesty deal: if data is missing, we show nothing rather than a guess — and prices can change at the counter, so always confirm with the store.
